Welcome to Paraphrase Detector
This project was built to help Dr. Hilton III, of Brigham Young University to conduct his research. This Java-based tool includes a GUI. A portion of Dr. Hilton's work is available in Textual Similarities in the Words of Abinadi and Alma's Counsel to Corianton (http://www.johnhiltoniii.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/51.2-HiltonIII-Textual-Similarities.pdf). The BYU WordCruncher team caught wind of this project and quickly implemented a very similar feature in their tool within weeks of me building this! Now that is competition!
